I am a workaholic who is terrified of painting. I have long felt that being creating is NOT FOR ME (i.e. I am not capable of it). So it was a HUGE stretch to sign up for this class. And I could just cry because I am SO HAPPY I did. Shanti was amazing at making me feel OKAY just as I am. She was gentle and encouraging but also offered good feedback and instructions, which I really needed. In the end, and because of this class, I am finally getting to know my inner artist. And guess what? - she's kinda awesome :)
