A little more on this fabulous itinerary...

Glastonbury, the heart of ancient Avalon, is an ancient market town wrapped in layers of history, myth and legend, boasting numerous eccentric shops, vegetarian/vegan cafes & restaurants. First we'll visit the famous Glastonbury Tor, said to be a remnant of the Atlantean civilization, where you will learn the art of 'Fluid Druid' sketching, in a way that's deeply present, guided on how to allow your own sketching style to flow. Then it's on to nearby Chalice Well, a place of pilgrimage for over two thousand years where people have gathered to drink the waters and find peace, healing and inspiration.  After this you'll have lots of free time to enjoy lunch and explore this amazing town as you wish - we'll provide you with a map & suggestions on things to do and places to eat (such as the Hundred Monkeys Café, serving vegan, gluten-free & dairy-free foods, and uses organic, locally sourced ingredients).

Bath is a city that's got it all; beautiful architecture, easily walkable, lots of history, and plenty of green spaces to chillax.  Add to that great shopping streets, good restaurants & that the whole city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you can see why we included a full day to enjoy it to the utmost.  One of the best things to do is visit the Roman Baths & adjacent Abbey, then perhaps take a stroll over Pulteney Bridge, where there’s a cafe with great views over the river - which makes for a great pit stop, although you might have to fight for a window seat!

The Stanton Drew Stone Circles are the third largest in England, but because it lies off the beaten track, these prehistoric stone circles have not received the same level of interest and exploration as the more famous examples at Avebury and Stonehenge. This obscurity has protected their solitude and will allow us to get closer to them - then we will find a quiet spot nearby for our Ancestor workshop.  Afterwards we will dine at the Druid Arms before heading back to Vobster.
